parasitus graffiticus

art on the schoolsquare

Do you find a schoolyard boring? That`s why the Willem II College asked me to create a design for the public square. I made a roof object. It became a parasitus graffiticus, a graffiti animal which is clinging to the building. The animal seems to move because of the light which shines through the colored transparent plates. This way you have a dynamic sculpture where the student will be able to shelter in bad weather.
