wylde fugels

I designed a pattern of birds for the Municipality the Frysian Lakes for partition walls for district Wylnahoarne. The streets in district Wylnahoarne are named after birds who are native to the area. These frysian birds are The Protter, the Swel, the Markol. A continual pattern has been casted in the concrete in three different hights. The residents were able to decide which hight and how many walls they wished.

Design commissioned by Municipality the Frysian Lakes, with cooperation of townplanner Ceciel Oud, delivery by Noppert Beton, ga creatief and installation by Vos Ruinerwold.
